Parlama sport fishing opens our new Tarpon fishing Jungle Lodge on the Caribbean
side of Guatemala! Located on Lago Izabal at the head of the Rio Dulce recreational
area, an area famous for it’s jungle scenery, sailboat population and spectacular river
canyon leading to the Caribbean Sea entrance at Livingston, Guatemala. From our
Jungle Lodge and nearby luxury hotel accommodations we offer a selection of fishing
options depending on season and tastes…explore Jungle Rivers and lagoons for
tarpon, snook and freshwater species. Or, journey downriver to the Caribbean to fish
for Wahoo, Tarpon and Kingfish or Barracuda!
Also available are multiple day excursions to the Sapodillas Keys of the southern most
tip of the Belizean Great Barrier reef where we fish for large variety of reef fish and
deep water species on the deep reef drops. Or hunt the flats for Bonefish, Permit and
Tarpon! Cool off by snorkeling along the shallow reefs around the Keys and enjoy
fresh caught fish dinners in the evenings. |

We offer our opening packages with the
option of staying with us at the Jungle
Lodge or accommodations at the
adjoining 4Star hotel “Banana Palms”. All
meals are included at the lodge and with
all fishing trips, along with transport to
and from the airport to your hotel. Fishing trips include all fishing tackle, bait and
refreshments, Capt. and crew aboard our superpangas “Parlama” or “Sabalo”.
Flights to and from the airport in
Guatemala City to either coast are
available at a reasonable extra cost.
